Excellent service, and good food both in the bar and restaurant. Good sea views and a pool that we did not get to use.
Pleanty of parking, the room was clean and maintained to a good standard and the dinning menu was good.
It was very hard to connect to the internet via the Hotel's wfi service.
Have stayed at the Hotel before. We were pleased with the room and good service and decided to stay to stay an extra two days.
Horrible long hairs stuck to the bath mate and on the flow of my bathroom. They couldn't have been from me because I'm bald!! Besides that, it was a lovely hotel.
Beautiful location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and nice breakfast.
Lovely views fantastic location and best steak I had ever I think
Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful location and luxurious hotel and very reasonable prices.
Maybe some facilities for rainy days ie small area with childrens books, colouring, jigsaws etc
We had a fantastic time at Hotel Jerbourg! We stayed for our honeymoon and I can not fault it. The staff were fantastic, the food incredible and the views were amazing.
Excellent situation, views of the sea and the pool. Good walks and coves from the hotel, plenty of parking and very friendly staff.
The pool was too cold.
The views were fantastic - the hotel is situated close to the cliff edge it was quite because the road ends at a car park with a kiosk and access beyond that is for residents only. Food also very good and staff friendly. Beware the laundry bill was HUGE!! Not the fault of the staff of the hotel, because it was sent out to the local laundry who have a monopoly and price accordingly.
Beds were not that comfortable and there was a light in the garden shining into the room (the staff did move it so that it pointed downwards after day 2)
Paul the owner was lovely, the staff were super welcoming and very freindly and helpful. The bus is a good 30-40 mins from the port which was probably a little further than we planned to stay, but all in all a lovely place to stay!
my boyfriend found the mattress rather firm, but I liked it that way, so each to their own.
Excellent location with great views. Great price and a nice spacious room.
Location on Guernsey's cliff path
Narrow flights of stairs
The location is the main attraction. Lovely sea views. The dining room and lounge looked out across the views. Lovely clifftop walks. In summer the pool would be nice too. The room was clean and comfortable. All facilities were available. The staff were friendly and helpful. Car parking was good. The breakfast buffet was very good.
The main meals were the biggest problem. The Sunday roast was cold and the roast potatoes were rock hard and therefore inedible. Not enough actual food in the set meal, for example the seafood dish was mainly sauce. There were what looked like coffee stains on the sheets although they had been laundered. The duvey in the duvey cover was stained. We couldn't get our Wifi to work.
The setting is beautiful, the rooms comfortable and spotless, the food excellent, the staff helpful, peasant and friendly. As an unlooked-for bonus I should mention the bus that passes the hotel door every hour with a flat rate fare of £1 per person. This obviates having to use the car. The roads are crowded and narrow on Guernsey, the signposting is dire (we made 3 attempts to find the turning toJerbourg, and there is nowhere to park.
This is definitely not a "beach hotel" - the sea is a good 200' below, and no beach. This is true of all this side of the island - all the beaches are on the western side. In wet weather there is little to do.
